Blending With A Male Slant
Do you have a man in your life?
Or maybe you are a male aromatherapist.
What aromatic product might you enjoy creating that has a male slant?
Or do you think scents are basically androgynous?
Introduction to Aromatherapy for Men Video
Our graduate student Jack will narrate as Pierre serves you your brew.
Shaving
To prevent inflammation during shaving, add Roman chamomile, lavender or helichrysum to a lotion you apply before the first strokes of the blade.
Tea tree, lavender, and lemongrass will all help disinfect any cuts or sores caused by shaving.
(Lavabre) Men will benefit by using sandalwood as an aftershave or moisturizing oil. It calms barber’s rash, relieves itching and inhibits bacteria that promote ingrown hair. It is also helpful for eczema.
Beard Oil–
Use to hydrate your skin and beard. Beard oil softens facial hair and helps to style it. In a 25 ml (1 oz) bottle with a dropper, add:
15 ml jojoba
10 ml hemp or argan carrier
Three drops atlas or red cedar
Three drops Vetiver
Three drops lime
If your skin is prone to breakouts, you may substitute tea tree or lavender. Skip the citrus if your skin is super sensitive. Play with the recipe. Any carrier, such as melted coconut oil, avocado, or rosehip seed, will benefit. Weigh your needs and finances and start creating. The sky is the limit!

Muscle Recovery Oil Professional Formula
Ingredients:
Carrier Oils:
Arnica Infused Oil: 47%
Dandelion Infused Oil: 46%
Essential Oils:
Eucalyptus Essential Oil: 2%
Ginger Essential Oil: 2%%
Birch Essential Oil: 1%
Helichrysum Essential Oil 1%
Natural Antioxidants:
Vitamin E Oil: 2%
Rosemary Extract (ROE): 1.5%
Full Procedure:
Prepare the Base Oil Blend:
Mix Arnica-Infused Oil (47%) and Dandelion-Infused Oil (47%) in a sanitized container. These infused oils should be prepared beforehand by infusing the dried herbs in a carrier oil like Olive or Grapeseed oil.
Add Eucalyptus, Ginger, and Birch Essential Oil to the base oil blend. Stir or shake gently but thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
Add Natural Antioxidants: Mix in Vitamin E Oil (2%) and Rosemary Oleoresin Extract (1.5%) with the oil blend. These antioxidants will help prolong the shelf life of the oils by preventing rancidity.
Bottling and Labeling: Transfer the final oil blend into dark glass bottles to protect them from light, which can degrade the oils over time. Please ensure the bottles are airtight to maintain the oil’s integrity.
Label each bottle with the product name, ingredients, batch number, and production date.
Storage: Store the bottles in a cool, dark place to preserve the quality of the oils.
Notes:
Please make sure all equipment and containers are thoroughly sanitized to prevent contamination.
Always perform a patch test before using the product, especially considering the potency of essential oils.
Remember that infused oils should be prepared and strained carefully to avoid any plant material residue in the final product.
This “Herbal Muscle Recovery Oil” offers a natural, therapeutic approach to muscle relaxation and recovery. It utilizes the synergistic effects of Arnica, Dandelion, and selected essential oils, enhanced with the natural antioxidant properties of Vitamin E and Rosemary Extract.
